Your Girl

Featuring N.O.R.E.

Rapper N.O.R.E. was going to be the featured guest on the song “Your Girl,” from Mariah's 2005 album The Emancipation Of Mimi but his part was eventually cut. This version of the song had never seen the light of day until it was included on the “Your Girl” EP which was released in January 2021 as part of the MC30 celebration.

Lyrics

Your Girl
(Remix feat. N.O.R.E.)

N.O.R.E.:
You should be my girl, you should be my girl
I'ma take you trips around my world
She's always in them helicopters
G4s and Challengers
Six bodyguards, three limos and two managers
And I ain't Hollywood
Or Pinot Grigio pours
Hood lifestyle, styrofoam cups to the drawers, pause
And she's her own chick
A hottest own chick
She's ain't gotta borrow
Shawty got her own hit
Let's go

Mariah:
See, I used to be so shy
Sit at home and fantasize
But I ain't wastin' no more time
Cause I've got to make you mine

I'm gonna make you want to
Get with me tonight
I'm gonna put those naughty
Thoughts into your mind
I'm gonna show you clearly
I can rock your world
You're gonna know for sure
That I should be your girl

See I used to be afraid
But now baby I can't wait
I just gotta have your love
And enough's enough's enough

I'm gonna make you want to
Get with me tonight
I'm gonna put those naughty
Thoughts into your mind
I'm gonna show you clearly
I can rock your world
You're gonna know for sure
That I should be your girl

N.O.R.E.:
See nobody be as high as me
Oops oops, I'll say again
NORE be higher up
And I ain't a liar
Never get slammed in that hood news Enquirer
Never worked for me
So I never had to fire her
Both do our thing
Chase paper on prime
Both don't drink Crown liquor
Drink soft wine
We can vacation in France or Tahiti
But I'm getting my name written on walls
Writing graffiti

I'm gonna make you want to
Get with me tonight
I'm gonna put those naughty
Thoughts into your mind
I'm gonna show you clearly
I can rock your world
You're gonna know for sure
That I should be your girl
