On February 3, 2002, Mariah performed “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, LA, for the Super Bowl XXXVI pre-game show. She performed it again at the Daytona 500 pre-race ceremony at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, FL, on February 16, 2003.
