“Stay The Night” is a song from Mariah's 2005 album The Emancipation Of Mimi that she wrote with Kanye West. “Working with Kanye is something that I really always wanted to do, and we've tried to get together a few times before this album, but it just didn't work out until now. So it was really great that we got the opportunity to work together,” Mariah said in 2005. “We did a song called ‘Stay The Night,’ which is one of the first records that I did for the album. It's got a really strong, powerful vocal performance and the track is really hot, so I'm glad we had the chance to work together because I think he's really talented. I loved his album this past year, so it was really great to have this opportunity.”
