“100%” is a song originally written for the movie Precious: Based On The Novel Push By Sapphire. The song wasn't featured on the movie but was eventually released in February 2010 as part of the The AT&T Team USA Soundtrack. “I am honored to be a part of this effort to support Team USA through this soundtrack,” Mariah said on a press release. “The Olympic Winter Games create once-in-a-lifetime moments for the entire world to see. It is truly amazing to watch these first-rate athletes compete and give everything they have to reach new levels of achievement. Their actions provide hope and inspiration for everyone. As artists, we strive to encourage others through our music.”
The music video for “100%” was filmed at Toronto's Air Canada Centre during Mariah's 2010 Angels Advocate tour and premiered on February 19, 2010.
