Mariah made history when her performance Mariah Carey Live In Las Vegas became the first concert to be simulcast to mobile and other digital devices worldwide on October 10, 2009. “Mariah is a great performer to debut our global concert platform,” said Robert Kasher, a partner in GDE. “Her extraordinary worldwide popularity is a perfect fit to showcase this new approach for the dissemination of live music which we believe to be the future of live entertainment.”
A selection of songs from the sold-out concert — recorded live on September 11 and 12, 2009 — was digitally released by Charly Records in 2014, titled Mariah Carey at The Pearl Palms Concert Theatre.
