Mariah's music certifications were updated when she visited the country in 2024 to perform in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. She now has a Diamond single “I Want To Know What Love Is,” — her biggest hit in the country, which managed to stay atop the charts for twenty-seven weeks, becoming the longest chart-topper in the history of the Crowley Broadcast Analysis — four Platinum and Multi-Platinum singles, and three Gold singles.
Four of her albums have also reached Platinum status: Music Box, Rainbow and her compilations #1's and Greatest Hits, six of her albums are now certified Gold: Daydream, Butterfly, Charmbracelet, The Emancipation Of Mimi, E=MC² and Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel.
