In 2004, Mariah recorded a song titled “Misty Moon” for a Japanese commercial for Coca Cola's tea Sokenbicha. Several commercials aired with Mariah singing two different verses as well as humming along to the song, a cover of the traditional Japanese song “Oborozukiyo,” but the whole song was never released.
