Mariah appeared on a Hostelworld commercial which debuted in April 2018. The commercial, directed by Nick Ball, was shot in Barcelona in June 2017 and features Mariah arriving at an unnamed hostel flanked by her entourage. One of her assistants booked the stay by mistake — however Mariah soon discovers the hostel experience is not as grim as she might have expected. The spot ends with Mariah putting on an impromptu performance of “Fantasy” in the bar, complete with doves, sequins and a desk fan doubling as a wind machine.
