“Ecstasy” is the title of one of the unreleased songs Mariah recorded with Jermaine Dupri. The song was only mentioned during a promotional video conference with fans / friends in 2020 while discussing the launch of The Rarities album. When asked what she expected to find in the vault but couldn't, Mariah replied. “‘Ecstasy,’ which is a song that I wrote with JD. I'm not going to say where we were at with it, but I expected to have all of these vocals that I did and we didn't have them. That was a little bit sad for me because that song had a very specific sample. I heard somebody else recently used it but I'm not going to say who because it's not my job, they can promote the sample themselves.”
