Mariah included “The Floor” on her 2005 album The Emancipation Of Mimi. The song was produced by The Neptunes and features rapper Nelly. “I really enjoyed working with Nelly on this song. When we first did it, it was one of my favorite songs that I had done for the record,” Mariah said about their collaboration. “It was great working with him in the studio. He really brought a lot to the table because he has a lot of great melodic ideas and so I was really impressed and I really enjoyed that collaborative moment. I was really happy that I was able to work with him.”
