Mariah worked with The Stereotypes for the song “Stay Long Love You.” The track features rapper Gunna and is included on her Caution album, released in 2018. “I had such a fun session with the Stereotypes coming up with this one,” Mariah wrote on Twitter. “It's a feel good record!”
“Charm and Ray were working on the track and she gave me the mic,” The Stereotypes' Jonathan Yip explained about their creative process. “I'm holding it in the middle of the room, and we just start to sing some melodies. It's just me and her coming up with concepts. I'm thinking, ‘Am I really looking up at Mariah Carey and singing right now?’ ”
