Lyrics

My All

I am thinking of you
In my sleepless solitude tonight
If it's wrong to love you
Then my heart just won't let me be right
'Cause I've drowned in you
And I won't pull through
Without you by my side

I'd give my all to have
Just one more night with you
I'd risk my life to feel
Your body next to mine
'Cause I can't go on
Living in the memory of our song
I'd give my all for your love tonight

Baby can you feel me
Imagining I'm looking in your eyes
I can see you clearly
Vividly emblazoned in my mind
And yet you're so far
Like a distant star
I'm wishing on tonight

I'd give my all to have
Just one more night with you
I'd risk my life to feel
Your body next to mine
'Cause I can't go on
Living in the memory of our song
I'd give my all for your love tonight

I'd give my all to have
Just one more night with you
I'd risk my life to feel
Your body next to mine
'Cause I can't go on
Living in the memory of our song
I'd give my all for your love tonight
Give my all for your love
Tonight

Make It Happen

Not more than three short years ago
I was abandoned and alone
Without a penny to my name
So very young and so afraid
No proper shoes upon my feet
Sometimes I couldn't even eat
I often cried myself to sleep
But still I had to keep on going
Never knowing if I could take it
If I would make it through the night
I held on to my faith
I struggled and I prayed
And now I've found my way

If you believe in yourself enough
And know what you want
You're gonna make it happen
(Make it happen)
And if you get down on your knees at night
And pray to the Lord
He's gonna make it happen
(Make it happen)

I know life can be so tough
And you feel like giving up
But you must be strong
Baby just hold on
You'll never find the answers
If you throw your life away
I used to feel the way you do
Still I have to keep going
Never knowing if I could take it
If I would make it through the night
I held on to my faith
I struggled and I prayed
And now I've finally found my way

If you believe in yourself enough
And know what you want
You're gonna make it happen
(Make it happen)
And if you get down on your knees at night
And pray to the Lord
He's gonna make it happen
(Make it happen)

I once was lost
But now I'm found
I got my feet on solid ground
Thank you Lord
If you believe within your soul
Just hold on tight
And don't let go
You can make it happen
(Make it happen)

If you believe in yourself enough
And know what you want
You're gonna make it happen
(Make it happen)
And if you get down on your knees at night
And pray to the Lord
He's gonna make it happen
(Make it happen)

Chain Of Fools

Chain, chain, chain
Chain, chain, chain
Chain, chain, chain
Chain of fools

For five long years
I thought he was my man
But I found out
I'm just a link in his chain
He had me where he wanted me
I ain't nothin' but his fool
He treated me mean
He treated me cruel

Chain, chain, chain
Chain of fools

Every chain has got a weak link
I might be weak
But I'll give you strength

He told me to leave him alone
My father said 'she can come on on home
My doctor said 'take it easy'
Oh but your lovin' is much too strong
I'm added to hi

Chain, chain, chain
Chain, chain, chain
Chain, chain, chain
Chain of fools

One of these mornings
The chain is gonna break
But up until then
I'm gonna take all I can take

Chain, chain, chain
Chain of fools
Chain, chain, chain
Chain of fools

A Natural Woman

Lookin' out on the mornin' rain
I used to feel so uninspired
And when I knew I had to face another day
Oh, it made me feel so tired

Before the day I met you
Life was so unkind
But your love was the key to my peace of mind

'Cause you make me feel
You make me feel
You make me feel
Like a natural woman

When my soul was in the lost and found
You came along to claim it
I didn't know just what was wrong with me
But your kiss helped me name it

Now I'm no longer doubtful
Of what I'm livin' for
And if I make you happy, I don't need to do more

Cause you make me feel
You make me feel
You make me feel
Like a natural woman

Oh baby what you've done to me
You make me feel so good inside
I wanna be close to you
Because you make me feel so alive

You make me feel
You make me feel
You make me feel
Like a natural woman

Testimony

As I look back over my life and I think things over
I can truly say that I've been blessed
I've got a testimony

As I look back over my life and I think things over
I can truly say that I've been blessed
I've got a testimony

As I look back over my life and I think things over
I can truly say that I've been blessed
I've got a testimony

As I look back over my life and I think things over
I can truly say that I've been blessed
I've got a testimony

Sometimes I couldn't find my way
But the Lord, He brought me out
Right now I'm free, I've got the victory
I've got a testimony

There was a time I couldn't find my way
But the Lord, He brought me out
Right now I'm free, I've got the victory
I've got a testimony

I've got a testimony (Lord's been good to me)
I've got a testimony (Lord's been good to me)
I've got a testimony (Lord's been good to me)
